I have to pinch myself sometimes when I realize how unreal it is that we get to do what we do for a living. Like, we get to capture love stories as our JOB?! Unreal. We are soooo so lucky to have incredible clients and amazing support in the creative industry. We held a couples session in Arizona with Cactus and Pine Co in the desert and it was just too much fun, it didn’t feel like work! It’s days like these when I make sure to take a moment to really soak in alllll the incredible opportunities I have had as a photographer. The best part is getting to share amazing love stories, such as Sydney and Fabio’s!
Our Gorgeous Couple
Sydney and Fabio have two of the MOST contagious smiles I’ve ever come across. They were sooo happy to be together and it was obvious how in love they are with one another! Their love story is beautiful and they’ve been married for two years now.They adore each other and just want to spend time together making memories! These two lovebirds are big adventure seekers, but that doesn’t keep them from a cozy movie marathon every once in a while. Sydney and Fabio have a fairytale-type love. Fabio is Brazilian and Sydney is learning how to speak Portuguese – such a beautiful way to show that she loves him and cares about his culture! Being able to witness their love is the sweetest thing.
On this day, we met up with Sydney and Fabio in the Arizona desert and let loose. I like to keep my couple sessions loose and active. There’s something extra special about seeing two people who adore each other run around and laugh with each other. I’ve found that encouraging my couples to just be their playful selves has led to some incredible candid shots. We had endless fun until the sun went down! Fabio gave Sydney piggyback rides around the golden desert sand as we blasted music!
Outfit Goals
Sydney and Fabio looked absolutely adorrrableeee for this session. It was a bit cooler out, so they came dressed in jackets and sweaters and I loved what they chose! Fabio in a beige jacket with a faux-fur lined collar and Sydney in a cozy burnt orange chunky sweater. They totally fit the part of stylish desert babes. When planning your couples session you want to consider what you want the vibe of your session to be and coordinate outfits with one another. Fabio and Sydney both wore jeans to keep things relaxed and laid-back and chose a color palette that matched their surroundings. If you’re not entirely sure about what to wear, ask your photographer for tips! We’ve shot a ton of couples sessions and can guide you in the right direction.
This couple’s session in Arizona was a great reminder of how radiant love can be. I swear, I can still feel their love through these images! Sydney and Fabio, you two are incredible.
