Styled Elopement in Sedona

These sweethearts are OBSESSED with each other, and sooooo in love! This gorgeous styled elopement in Sedona was hosted by myself and Shanoah with Cactus and Pine Co. This particular morning just so happened to be cloudy, which provided the perfect moody setting! We couldn’t get enough of the tall beige-colored grass and the red rocks in the background. The way Vanessa’s dress moved with the wind and grass added so much magical dimension to the photos. This day was perfect!! Can we go back?!?

Whimsical Florals and Modern Boho Details

We had the pleasure of working with some other incredible local vendors for this styled elopement in Sedona, who helped us bring our vision to life! Daisy Head Floral brought us the stunning floral details – how beautiful is that bouquet?! I am still just gushing over how the vibrant colors popped against the setting. The delicate blooms danced around with each movement and added that final touch to Vanessa’s look. But, the florals didn’t distract from our couple, which was the goal! To dress our beautiful bride we rented a dreamy gown from Dalliance Gown Rentals and it was the perfect fit for our shoot! But, ummmmm can we take a moment for the BOOTS?! Cowboy boots are totally having their glamorous moment and I am here for it!! The shoes, the hat, the dress, the bouquet… It all created such a cohesive look and totally and elevated the dreamy boho vibes.

Vanessa and Parker

These two were radiant. They were the sunshine on this cloudy day!! Vanessa knew how to work that dress letting it flow in the wind, kicking up her leg to show off those iconic boots all with the biggest smile on her face! I need to give a shoutout to Parker as well because he was a trooper and was down for everything. Plus, not everyone can keep their cool and LOOK cool while 10 cameras are on them at once, but Parker was totally into it. I think the reason he was so engaged was because of how in love he is with Vanessa. They just loved getting to spend time with each other and make memories! Their smiles when they looked into each other’s eyes were everything. The lovey-doveyness was totally what we were going for, and they brought it.

Whenever a styled shoot is focused on just the couple it can be hard to come up with unique shots. But luckily our models worked with us to try out new poses, stage those “sooo in love” moments, and overall it felt like we were just celebrating their best day ever! It is always so rewarding when our models are down to experiment with us and go the extra mile to get *that* shot. Trust me when I say, we got “that shot” and more!

Reminiscing on this styled elopement in Sedona makes me sooo excited to start planning more shoots! It is so much fun being able to play around, get creative, and meet other industry professionals. When we are able to put our heads together we can create absolute magic. Vanessa and Parker, you two were absolute STARS and I cannot express how incredible you looked during this shoot.
