Luxury Wedding at the Phoenician Resort

Arizona is home to a ton of breathtaking locations perfect for a wedding, but some spots land a little higher on the list. When it comes to luxury and natural Arizona feels, The Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ nails it!! We had the opportunity to visit this gem for Dakota and Kyle’s wedding and it was perfect!! The Phoenician is a luxury resort that really pulls out all the stops for the weddings it hosts so we knew Dakota and Kyle’s wedding was going to be iconic. This location had everything from a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site in front of towering mountain views to an elegant ballroom for the ideal reception. This stunning resort really provides such a delightful canvas to shoot at!! Let’s chat more about Dakota and Kyle’s wedding at The Phoenician, shall we?

Original ideas?! Bring it on!! Dakota and Kyle sure did and we were right there to capture the reactions. As we talked with Dakota and Kyle about what they wanted to be captured for their big day we were extremely excited about their most brilliant idea: first looks with each other’s bridal parties! Dakota did a first look with the groomsmen and Kyle did a first look with the bridesmaids. It was so sweet! We hadn’t seen this done before and the reactions were priceless. To be able to not only experience but capture this moment was absolutely golden.

Let’s discuss the details. Our love birds aimed for a wedding day full of fun and full of color!

Seeing the way they combined a gorgeous arrangement of reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, and blues felt so joyful. Their colors really popped at their ceremony site that was set in front of the infamous Arizona desert mountains. Their arch was a cool trio of circles within each other with vibrant asymmetrically placed floral sprays. The whole setup was unreal. The mountains, the cacti, the color, can we go back?! To top it all off there was a beautiful and long rose petal carpet that marked the aisle perfectly and pulled your eye up to the main event: our bride and groom!

Our bride and groom were so ready to get married — it was obvious from their bridal party and guests’ reactions that this was a special one. The way Dakota and Kyle look at each other is so heartwarming, you can really feel the love between them! through radiant smiles and happy tears, our couple was married! As they walked back down the aisle their guests blew bubbles and threw rose petals. The magic that was created just beautiful. These images seriously have us feeling giddy for them all over again!!

As we moved from the ceremony into reception we were greeted by a stunning tropical-inspired design.

They had some intricate lighting designs of palm fronds projected onto the walls of the ballroom and it created a super fun club-like feel that carried on throughout the night. The floral design felt like a soft rustic-meets-beach vibe and it was just so different from what we’ve been seeing lately! The driftwood, succulents, vibrant colors, and amazing candlelight were just a ridiculously fun vibe.

Seated at a large head table our bride and groom pulled out all the drama. Their long table was covered in white linen that allowed the beautifully crafted florals to pop. They had three large floral arrangements placed in front of them with another piece at the base of the table. This created such a fun frame for our bride and groom!! As we mentioned, this resort really nails every detail and these photos are just the smallest look into what was an amazing wedding at The Phoenician. We will be smiling for a long time thinking about the packed dance floor and just how much fun this bunch was!
