Ashley and Todd, literally the definition of love! their elopement at Bell Rock in Sedona seriously was an emotion-packed event. Both ashley and todd are so thoughtful and aware of one another, it was clear they have really gotten to know and love each other for exactly who they are! Let’s talk about the famous Sedona magic that is Bell Rock, this location is seriously stunning!! Especially at sunset; the rich golden glow shined down on the bright red rocks surrounding Ashley and Todd as we captured their bridal portraits. Talk about the perfect place to enjoy the first moments as a married couple! I have to take a moment to give Ashley and Todd a major shoutout, they traveled all the way from South Carolina so they could elope in Arizona among the Sedona red rocks!
This elopement at bell rock was full of so many happy tears shared among just 8 of their closest friends and family.
I loveeeee intimate ceremonies like this because it makes the experience so incredibly meaningful, not that large weddings aren’t, there is just something extra beautiful about privacy! True love radiates off of Ashley and Todd, and we just loved working with them so much. A moment I’ll remember for a long time is when they shared the sweetest first look and exchanged gifts… okay, cue the tears!! Ashley gave Todd customized cufflinks with pictures of his recently passed father. It was such a special moment shared between the two of them.
While the main focus of their elopement was the love shared between Ashley and Todd, we did have the joy of finding a few small details that really made everything all the more beautiful!! Ashley was stunning in her white gown and diamond-shaped drop earrings. Her bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement filled with pampas, dried palms, lush roses, and a gorgeoussss deep orange orchid that perfectly matched the orange tones of the red rocks. Todd kept it classy in a navy suit with a sleek light-grey tie.
As the sun bounced off of their smiles, Ashley and Todd shared vows they wrote themselves in front of their friends and family.
Everything about this day was perfect for them! They wanted something intimate and special and fitting to their style — they achieved that for sure! Ashley and Todd kept it simple yet sweet for their elopement at Bell Rock and went all out on their incredibly amazing honeymoon where they traveled and hiked around places such as Zion National Park!
I always admire when couples do exactly what they want for their wedding. Oftentimes family members or friends may let their personal preferences influence the couples decisions and tell them what they should or shouldn’t do, and it can definitely get stressful! That’s why I love elopements so much. They’re usually a little less stressful and allow for more time to add in fun new traditions or leave out some traditions that may not be important to you. Ashley and Todd had a few special traditions they wanted to incorporate into their intimate elopement including their first dance – they had dance lessons for it, how cute!! They also knew that they wanted to share the cake cutting tradition with their friends and family so they had the most adorable and exceptionally delicious petite cake!
