Sweet, sweet Hailey and Levi! the road to I do was a winding one full of sunshine and a little rain. When their plans for a big wedding were re-imagined to make sure Levi’s dad could be present, they opted for an intimate ceremony to focus on what mattered most. These two have their priorities sooooo right!! months later, we got Hailey all dolled up in her gorgeous wedding gown, and we met in the magical red rocks for some Sedona bridal portraits at Bell Rock. Boy was this desert bridal session worth the wait!
We had the craziest weather EVER during their portraits!
Plenty of sunny golden light, then storm clouds and rain. The desert sky just simply opened up on us and it POURED. Hailey and Levi were so down to just go with it and get completely soaked, and it turned out to be some of my favorite photos we’ve ever taken! Completely raw, unplanned, and absolutely perfect! We had the most incredible time. I won’t ruin the best weather surprise – you’ll just have to see for yourself, but it was everything!!
This stormy desert bridal session with these two will definitely go down as one of our favorites ever.
It was just soooo much fun! mother nature smiled down on us and brought out all her tricks to create some photo magic with us. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better scenario with a couple who just leaned right in and went for it – red dirt soaked gown and all!! Some of my favorite shots are of these two dripping in rare desert rain drops and loving every second of it all. I feel so freaking lucky to have been there to capture it all with them!!
