Amanda and Erik’s story began in 2019 when they met during their master’s program. Throughout college, they were close friends. It wasn’t until 2021, when they went to dinner one evening and ended up talking for over three hours, that they both realized their connection was something more. From that moment on, they were inseparable.
Over the past 2.5 years, they’ve built a life filled with adventure, shared passions, and love. Whether they’re exploring new places around the world or cooking side by side in the kitchen, Amanda and Erik have found joy in life’s simple and big moments together. Erik proposed in October, 2024 on an island off the coast of Africa—a moment that perfectly reflected their adventurous sides.
With Amanda originally from Arizona, it felt only right to celebrate their wedding in the desert she once called home. Superstition Mountain provided the perfect backdrop!
