From the moment we touched down in Iceland, we knew this was going to be something unforgettable. Iceland’s surreal landscapes, with its waterfalls, mossy cliffs, and endless horizons, provided the dreamiest backdrop for our couple’s love story—and these two truly brought the magic! They were so in love, so obsessed with each other, and just an all-around vibe to be around. Every moment felt so authentic, from their genuine laughs to their spontaneous dances under the Icelandic sky.
Iceland has a unique way of adding both romance and adventure to any shoot, and this couple was ready to soak in every ounce of it. We started at the breathtaking Lupine Fields, where the purple blooms stretch as far as the eye can see, blending into the rugged Icelandic landscape. The couple was fully in the moment, running through the fields, laughing, and just letting loose. It was incredible to capture their candid moments here, where nature meets raw emotion in the most beautiful way.
Next, we headed to one of Iceland’s iconic waterfalls. The power and beauty of the falls added a new dimension to the shoot; mist swirled around us, creating an ethereal atmosphere that felt almost otherworldly. This couple was completely unfazed by the elements—they were up for anything and embraced the wild beauty of the location. They held each other close, took in the scenery, and even danced barefoot on the rocks. It was as if Iceland itself was celebrating their love right alongside us.
To add a creative twist, I shot some of the session on film. There’s something magical about capturing these moments with the raw, timeless quality that film brings. The combination of digital clarity and film’s nostalgic feel added such depth to the album, and it’s a joy to see how each image brings out different shades of their love.
