A Little About Haylee & Garrett
Haylee and Garrett’s love story is one that just makes you smile. They met through mutual friends while working at a coffee shop in Arizona and instantly clicked. It’s clear that they balance each other perfectly—Haylee describes herself as the “crazy outspoken one,” while Garrett is the calm presence that holds it all together. Their bond grew stronger after a music festival back in May 2018, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
I absolutely love how they describe their relationship. Together they balance out each other and make the perfect match. When they talk about their love, it’s genuine, full of laughter, and just so sweet. You can feel how much they care for each other—and that’s exactly what we aimed to capture during their engagement shoot.
The Engagement Session
Their engagement session was truly unforgettable, and of course, the star of the day was their adorable dog, Winnie. She brought so much playful energy, making the shoot even more special. I always say, bring your dog to your engagement session! They’re part of your love story, and Winnie was the perfect addition to theirs.
We started the session at Ecola State Park in Oregon, where the misty coastal landscape added to that moody, romantic vibe. The backdrop of the cliffs and dense forest perfectly matched their desire for deeper, more emotional tones in their photos. After exploring Ecola, we headed down to Cannon Beach for some shots on the sand. The soft, diffused light was everything.
Their preference for moody, genuine photos felt right at home with these Oregon backdrop. The rich, deep colors in the photos give their session an intimate, timeless feel, exactly what they were hoping for. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to capture their love story—it was such a magical day from start to finish!
The Wedding Day
With both of their families based in Arizona, Haylee and Garrett will have a lot of guests flying in from out of state for the wedding. Their wedding at Stonebridge Manor is going to be full of love, laughter, and those same genuine, romantic vibes that make their relationship so special. February is the perfect month to get married in Arizona, and we cannot wait to be apart of the day!
