Meet Brenda and Aaron
Brenda and Aaron have been together for over six years but just got engaged in January. Brenda told us that her fiance, Aaron, is a super outdoorsy kind of guy who loves mountain biking so much. He even works for Pivot Cycles! My girl Brenda is more of a homebody though. She is all for binge-watching Law & Order with her besties and enjoying allllll the good snacks! So relatable haha. Learning about our couples is one of the best parts of our job – especially when we relate to them so much!! Brenda and Aaron have a passion for traveling just like Steven and I. They also adore animals and a solid all-you-can-eat Sushi spot.
These cuties are getting married in Tucson, Arizona next year and we are SO excited. The goal for Brenda and Aaron’s wedding is to beautifully melt their two cultures together. As I said, Brenda is a gorgeous Latina from the Dominican and has fallen in love with the sweetest ginger from Iowa. We are so excited for their wedding day but have to give some extra special attention to their golden hour desert engagement session!
Golden Hour Portraits
Brenda and Aaron asked us to capture their whimsically romantic engagement photos for them in the Arizona desert, and the vibes were EVERYTHING!! We are sooo obsessed with how this session turned out. Brenda and Aaron are both super photogenic which of course made these images all the more beautiful. I mean, my girl Brenda is a queen!! She was totally serving ALL the looks during the entire shoot and knew how to work those gorgeous dresses too. I love how she brought two different dresses for the session.
The outfit choices Brenda and Aaron brought were iconic. Brenda’s gowns both had a romantic off-the-shoulder boho style in shades of ivory and cream. They reflected the golden hour sun beautifully and I was so obsessed with how perfectly they flowed as she and Aaron spun around in circles. They also thought to bring an adorable baby’s breath bouquet that added such a fun accent to the shoot! Aaron matched Brenda’s effortless style in a denim button-up and black pants. I couldn’t help but obsess over how the two of them mimicked the environment we were in, Aaron stood tall like the cacti around us while Brenda floated lightly through the space.
