We may be getting in the holiday mood and wrapping up 2022, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped thinking about all things weddings! This past year we traveled to some incredible places but Arizona is the place we call home, and we are so grateful to live in such an incredible state. We are so excited to share with you some of our favorite wedding venues in Arizona!
But first, as the holiday season picks up so does engagement season. And let us be the first to tell you, CONGRATS!! Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in your life, and we know you’re feeling over the moon and ready to jump right into wedding planning. Luckily, we have some of the most amazing wedding venues EVER right here, in our home state of Arizona.
One of our favorite things to do is help couples navigate through the wedding planning process. These wedding venues that we’re sharing each have something special to offer, and we know you’ll fall in love with one of them. The Paseo
Number one on the list and in our hearts is The Paseo. Now, we don’t often pick favorites (because honestly we just love all of these venues SO much!!) but, The Paseo is by far one of our most-loved.
For starters, The Paseo is set right in front of the Superstition Mountains. Every time we visit this venue, we are in awe of the gorgeous ceremony views provided by the natural beauty. Seriously, The Paseo has one of the best ceremony backdrops out there!! We love how versatile this space is as well, you can have classy desert bridal portraits without even leaving the venue! Plus, there are always breathtaking sunsets that turn the mountains pink, you’ll LOVEEE the bridal shots you get when this happens.
No matter what theme, style, or color palette you’ve chosen for your wedding, The Paseo will allow it to stand out. Trust us, we have seen so many beautiful weddings here and they ALL look amazing! If you choose The Paseo as your wedding venue you will not be disappointed – oh and let’s chat, because we so want to be there, haha!
L’Auberge
Next on our list is L’Auberge. This is another all-time favorite wedding venue of ours, and can you blame us?! L’Auberge is tucked into Oak Creek Canyon right here in Sedona, Arizona, and has SO much to offer. This beautiful hotel has incredible mountain views, a relaxing ambiance, and it’s guaranteed to give you the perfect environment for making memories.
Think of how romantic your ceremony will feel overlooking the iconic red rocks! Regardless of your style, every second of your wedding day is going to be absolutely magical at L’Auberge. One of our favorite parts of any wedding at L’Auberge is when the sun sets, and the candles and twinkle lights light up the night. The charming outdoor reception space feels incredibly romantic with a low-lit ambiance. Whether your guest count is large or small this space makes every wedding feel intimate and soooo special.
The Willow
The Willow is a newer venue in town, but it has a ton of variety to offer! We think in the next few years it’ll be the hot spot for weddings. This venue has a classy style that really allows you to add your own special touch. Outside, set in front of the majestic mountains your ceremony will be framed by the most perfect Saguaro cacti, umm talk about the perfect Arizona wedding vibe!!
The venue has six acres of beautiful desert land that allow you and your guests to spread out and utilize the space. There are so many different options both inside and out! We adore the industrial feel of their reception hall. The clean lines and the neutral color palette invite you to customize the space and make it yours. We know our modern couples are going to love The Willow!
Windmill Winery
This charming venue is near Florence, Arizona, and has multiple options for your wedding day. Whether you’re in search of a lakeside ceremony or lush greenery-filled reception, Windmill Winery is going to be the place for you! This venue is stunning and we are obsessed with the reception space. Windmill Winery has a very classic-vintage feel and some unreal photo-op locations.
Windmill Winery has two venue locations, The Lake House and The Barn. The Lake House can hold about 200 guests while The Barn will welcome over 250! Regardless of your guest count size, Windmill Winery will provide some incredible locations. Make sure you check out their website and visit for a tour to see all of the stunning spots where your ceremony could be held!
A Backyard or Rental Property
Finally, we want to highlight how amazing a wedding in your family or friend’s backyard or rental property can be. There are so many beautiful wedding venues in Arizona, however, we also know there are some stunning private properties that can make for the perfect place to say I Do! By marrying in a backyard or rental property you will have a one-of-a-kind experience.
There are pros and cons to choosing a backyard or rental property as your wedding venue, but the sentimental value and uniqueness totally outweigh the cons! When getting married at a private location you will need to bring everything in, and we mean everything! This can be a little tricky (and more of an investment) but you have the opportunity to customize your wedding down to the very last detail.
The flexibility that comes with a backyard wedding is worth the additional rental costs. Plus, there is always an intimate feel to backyard weddings. Invite your closest friends and family, or have a massive party with everyone you know! Trust us, you can’t go wrong with a backyard or rental property as your wedding venue!
