Sharing a special connection, a laugh, or similar interests is immediately a good sign that we’re going to have a strong connection with our clients. But in my opinion, the number one thing we strive to have and consider the most important part of our relationship with each and every one of our clients is trust! Our clients select us to capture their most-important day and do it well. Lucky for us, Tricia and Alex put their full trust in our hands and allowed us to go all in when it came to photographing their wedding in Sedona!!

We don’t run off using shot lists at weddings, and these two totally trusted us! In their eyes, there was no need to worry about capturing specific shots or poses. Tricia and Alex simply wanted to focus on getting married, each other, and having the best time. As their photographer I wanted them to enjoy every single moment!!

Tricia and Alex held their beautiful wedding at sky ranch lodge in Sedona, Arizona which just so happens to be one of my favorite venues in Sedona. With those incredible views of red rocks at the ceremony site, ummm sign me up!! One of the many portions of their wedding day that I admired was that Tricia and Alex took the time to consider what was most important to them and incorporated personal touches into all elements of their wedding day. My favorite personal touch? Their dogs!! These adorable four-legged balls of love are a huge part of Tricia and Alex’s lives, so they of course had to be there. In fact, they were so important to the love birds that Alex even included an anecdote about the pups in his vows! How sweet!!

Since we’re talking about their vows, I’m serious when I say that I don’t remember the last time I cried over wedding vows this way. Alex was sooo emotional on their wedding day and one of the amazing qualities that Tricia loves so much is how he wears his heart on his sleeve. We were all teary-eyed and ecstatic for these two to finally tie the knot! Romantic reds, rich greens, and hints of gold dotted their reception tables and provided the most stunning bouquets for the girls. Tricia’s wedding dress was dreamy and dramatic in the best way! the train was to die for with delicious lace detailing all throughout. It was so much fun to see it move and float through the air! Tricia and Alex added a rustic touch to their romantic wedding in Sedona with whiskey barrels set as their ceremony site, curly willow and wood details on reception tables, and some good live music. In their reception tent, guests were greeted by dramatic table settings, glowing candlesticks, and eye-catching table numbers.

Seeing Tricia and Alex’s smiles light up throughout the day was amazing to see! As their photographer, I was loving all the smiles, twirls, dips, and laughs that carried us throughout the day. I want to emphasize how much it means to us that Tricia and Alex allowed us to capture their wedding day without giving us any direction. They trusted us to bring their wedding day to life and you guys, this resulted in the best candid photos!! On your wedding day you deserve to bask in aaalll the joy and love. Let your photographer, planner, and other vendors take care of the details! Tricia and Alex didn’t stress about anything and you shouldn’t either!!

Amazing stories and memories were shared during the toasts, and guests headed off to the dance floor where the party really started. Alex broke out his cowboy hat and everyone had a dang good time! Tricia and Alex’s wedding day was beautiful from start to finish and I could not be happier for these two. Their sparkler send-off ended the night on a memorable note; it was almost as if we were sending them off to start their love story together with a touch of magic.
