Alright, who else is obsessed with golden hour?! We sure are and it turns out our clients, Stephanie and David, are as well! We had the pleasure of shooting Stephanie and David’s sunset maternity photos at the beautiful Sunset Point in Arizona. To start us off on a great foot we had the most magnificent day! A lovely light breeze, the golden glow from the sun setting perfectly across the desert, and all of the love and joy that filled the air. Stephanie and David’s excitement for their baby was contagious and we are just so lucky to have shared this moment with them.
These two rocked the perfect boho style for their sunset maternity photos!
When we first met with Stephanie and David, they explained to us that they envisioned this maternity shoot being super boho with a bit of a laid-back vibe. Similar to their style! We must admit, they absolutely achieved that. With the perfect outfits, radiant joy, and the perfect setting, they came prepared with the ingredients for the laid-back boho maternity shoot of their dreams!
This was the first time Stephanie and David had professional photos taken of them… hard to believe, right?! They were absolute naturals in front of the cameras! Can you believe that throughout most of the shoot we barely had to pose them?! Stephanie and David seemed to know exactly what to do and to add the cherry on top, they were open to anything!! The fact that Stephanie and David were willing to go outside of their comfort zone for their sunset maternity photos made all the difference. We captured them in every setting including twirling in the sunlight on desert pathways and even playing in the desert grass, it was amazing. They just went for it! their willingness to get creative, let loose and have fun made for such an enjoyable and memorable evening.
Let’s talk about this beautiful couple for a second, shall we?
Stephanie was ready to take this shoot by storm and came prepared with two gorgeous dresses to wear at different points of our time together. During the first portion of the photos, Stephanie looked absolutely stunning in a long-sleeved green dress. After some beautiful photos with the green cacti and desert grass behind them, she switched it up and looked like a boho goddess in a long cream dress. We all know what they say about pregnant women having a beautiful glow to them. Well, that was absolutely the case for sSephanie, she was absolutely radiant!! We just were so in love with this momma to be — just look at that smile!!
It was inspiring to see how David cared for Stephanie and the looks of love they shared between each other. He sported some khakis and a tan t-shirt keeping it casual. It was so clear that he just was so excited to become a dad and share a family with Stephanie, seriously this baby is a lucky one!!
During our time with this wonderful duo, we had the pleasure of hearing a little bit of their story.
Something we found so special is the fact that they have decided to wait to find out their baby’s gender! They are just thrilled to start their little family and are going to shower their baby with love. We are just delighted for Stephanie and David to start their family, these two are absolute gems and we know they are going to make the best parents to their sweet little baby! Fingers crossed we’ll be taking photos of that cutie once they are in the world!
